There are many ways that you can find advice for well prepared before you leave for traveling to any countries for the first time. Nowadays, there are many news on blog or web site related to this topics. But for Cambodia, there not too many. Actually you need to know a lot of things, but today i will show you the most important things. The things that can make your trip more safe and happy.
1. Share Riding
Traveling around with private transportation would cost you more. So in generally pick up some friend while travel to the same destination is best solution to save some of your money. For example if you rent a taxi to travel around alone it would cost you 30US$ per day, but if you have 2 or 3 people on board. you only spent 10$ each for a day.
2. Sunglasses
A lot of parts in Siem Reap still dirty. So to prevent your eyes and make happy trip in this case you will need to bring with you sunglasses. If you don’t bring one, i suggest you to go to buy one at market that near the hotel you stay.
3. Last Minute Room Booking
As i mention earlier in my last topic, booking for the room to stay at the last minute is the best way to get out the lowest room rate. But i suggest you to do this during the low season or non-holiday period.
4. US Dollar
In Cambodia, you can spent in US Dollar anywhere. So in this case i would like you to exchange for the US Dollar because when you need to buy some goods or souvenir using US Dollar it is more easier then other currencies.
5. One Stop Night Life
If you want to spend your night time shopping or party in European Pubs or Restaurant, Pubstreet is the best place for you. In pubstreets, there are my restaurants, pubs, stores that you can eat meals, Asia, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnamese or European Food. If you want to dance or drink, there are many bars and pubs along pubstreet too. For ladies who want to shopping for some goods like t-shirt, gift, silver box… just go around pubstreet, there are many night stores around that you can purchase those goods. So Pubstreet is the one stop place that you can do everything to enjoy your night life.
